About Us
Academy Of Rock (AOR) is Singapore’s Award-winning Popular Music School. Established in 2007, AOR aims to be the leaders in popular music education and to be the main hub for music artistry, education and business. AOR strives to cultivate a culture that is embraces music as more than just a hobby, but also a viable career path. AOR prides itself on its holistic approach to its curriculum, abiding by its motto of “Never Too Early, Never Too Late”.
The school caters to a large demographic pool, including their youngest student at 18 months to their oldest in their 80’s as well as those with special needs. This approach to teaching is accompanied with an in-house developed syllabus, with guidance from UK Specialists in Music Education. AOR has expanded to countries such as Myanmar, Malaysia and Philippines throughout the past 16 years and has attained a myriad of awards, both locally and abroad.

Each module (30mins) will have specific learning outcome(s) through clear and progressive learning topics that will be covered and eventually achieve the aims of the entire coursework. Learning outcomes shall include simple to basic coordination, music knowledge and understanding of music reading through various exercises.
